Fall Term Classes and In-Person Safety Guidelines

This fall we are offering a combination of online classes, outdoor classes, and in-person classes that will meet at our historic buildings on Brattle Street. We have adopted the following guidelines to ensure the safety of students, instructors, and staff in our in-person classes

Students enrolled in in-person fall classes must show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination to a CCAE staff member prior to attending their first class. Our staff is 100% vaccinated. Masks are required based on City of Cambridge Public Health Department Guidelines. View our In-Person Class Safety Guidelines for more information on this policy as well as additional policies for in-person classes. We will continue to limit the capacity of classes in order to give students more space and personalized attention. We look forward to seeing many more of our students and instructors in-person again, and we will also continue to offer online classes in all departments.

View our hours of operation. Registrations can be made online at any time and CCAE staff can be reached at 617-547-6789 ext. 1 or info@ccae.org.

Thank you for your continued support!

“Inclusive, fun approach to learning a difficult subject. Joan [Brunetta] had a lot of little things - declension songs, memorization aids, a great way to use flash cards - that were unique to her and made studying easier. There was just enough rigor, without being overwhelming. This class was a lot of fun. There was a great camaraderie among the students and with the teacher. We all learned a lot in a non-threatening context.”

Tim S., Salvete Romani: Latin Beginner Level 1

“Natalia [Slattery] did a great job! She demonstrates and explains what she is doing in a very clear way. She was well prepared and sent excellent material to everyone before the class. Now I can go back and review everything she covered. The class was an excellent combination of demonstration and hands-on experience. ”

Martha B., Digital Collage: Creating Composite Images in Adobe Photoshop

“Ploy [Khunisorn] is a great teacher! Her ability to cover a vast amount of information and help students create several dishes in their own kitchens, all in an absolutely choreographed, simple manner is amazing. She is always kind and supportive and answers all questions, making sure she loses no students along the way. It's a joy to share her kitchen!!”

Claudia W., Korean Kitchen

Jane [Katims]'s selection of stories is exciting, gratifying and sometimes challenging! It's like a mini-vacation and a lot of fun everytime we meet! I love it! Everyone was able to express themselves thoughtfully and respectfully through a variety of story subjects.”
