Edward Byrne

Edward Byrne is a White educator, artist, and diversity, equity, and inclusion practitioner. He previously spent 10 years in the Cambridge Public Schools as the Coordinator of Student Diversity Programs teaching both students and educators about race, culture, and identity. He's worked at the intersection of theatre and education including directing and producing stage productions at the high school and college level. He recently worked with Anna Deavere Smith on her Notes from the Field project about the school to prison pipeline which was developed and produced at the A.R.T. He's also worked as a freelance theatre critic.
