Taylor Apostol

Based in Newton, Massachusetts, Taylor Apostol is a sculptor working in marble and clay. Through her painted and flocked sculptures she explores ideas of memory, place and form. Taylor earned her BA in Studio Art at the University of Vermont and MFA in Sculpture at Boston University. She studied marble carving and plaster casting in Florence and Carrara, Italy, and has attended residencies at Vermont Studio Center and The Studios at MASS MoCA. Taylor has taught at Clark University, the Carving Studio & Sculpture Center and New Art Center. Recently, her work has been included in exhibitions at ArtsWorcester, Gallery 263, and Nearby Gallery.
