Preparation for the TOEFL (the Test of English as a Foreign Language)

These classes are designed to help high intermediate and advanced (CEFR B2-C1) students improve the four skills tested on the TOEFL iBT (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) with practice tests, tips and strategies. Perfect also for advanced students who may not be planning to take the TOEFL, but wish to further develop their general English skills. John Coleman O'Donnell

John was born in Philadelphia, PA and grew up in Montreal, PQ. His educational background includes a BA in political science and an MA in political theory from Notre Dame University in South Bend, IN. He has been teaching ESL for 15 years in the Boston area. John is married to a Brazilian woman and has visited Brazil three times. He is learning Portuguese and completely empathizes with second language learners, since Portuguese is not an easy language to learn!
