Beginner Drawing Level 2: Introducing Color & The Model

This is a continuation of Beginner Drawing and students should have some drawing experience. We will begin with a quick review of basic drawing concepts: gesture, shape and contour lines, value, perspective and composition. Students will then draw from more complex still life setups in black and white. After reviewing basic color concepts, color will be introduced by drawing simple still life objects. A final still-life set up will be drawn in color encouraging a choice of pastels, colored pencils and oil pastels. Instructor: Gillian Frazier
