The World of Anton Chekhov

Anton Chekhov is one of the most often staged and produced dramatists in the world today. His short stories, of which he wrote over five hundred, are less known outside of Russia. These exquisite writing “miniatures,” however, are much more connected to his plays than many people realize. This class is about the Chekhov’s world—the intriguing intertwining of Chekhov’s plays and his short stories.
