A Perfect Match: Wine and Food Pairings

Join us for an evening of wine tastings and tasty bites: learn about acid and fat, texture and salt. We’ll start with a sparkling cocktail paired with salted nuts and fresh fruit. Next, we’ll try a dry Italian white served with a taste of butter shrimp, followed by a German Riesling accompanied by Chinese shumai dumplings. For reds, we’ll match a French Côtes du Rhône with roast beef on toast points, then end the evening with American Zinfandel and artisan cheeses. Instructor: Dagmar Smith
