Dumplings and Wontons

Join Chef Jason to learn about the fundamentals of Chinese dumplings and wontons. We’ll pinch, squeeze, and pleat our way to a succulent and satisfying meal as we make traditional boiled dumplings served with soy dipping sauces, pan-fry others for crispy potstickers, and prepare shrimp wontons in an authentic wonton soup. Using pork, Napa cabbage, Chinese chives, & seafood, we’ll make various traditional fillings from scratch. Enjoy a dumpling feast in this introductory class and take home the rest. Jason Wang

Jason J. Wang travels nationally and internationally as a chef, television host, food personality and educator. Born and raised in the Boston area by parents who immigrated from Taiwan and China, Jason is best known for his nature-inspired plated creations that fuse Western techniques with fresh Asian-themed flavors. In 2017, Jason was Runner-Up on the FOX Network’s ‘MasterChef US’ Season 8 hosted by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay where he was commended for bringing an important global food awareness to American audiences.

Jason currently travels around the world giving lectures, holding classes and appearing as a frequent television guest on food-related programming. His ongoing projects include hosting ‘Food Hunter 摘星秘密客’ on AsiaTravel TV and ‘Jason on Mission 傑出任務’ on the FOX Taiwan Networks.
