Middle Eastern Kitchen

If you remember Café Algiers in Harvard Square, you may still think about Arabic scripts, old books, wooden ceilings, and delicious Middle Eastern food. Join Chef Nancy Hart, a co-owner of this five-decade successful restaurant and learn about some of the most the commonly used ingredients of everyday meals. We’ll make stuffed grape leaves, fresh salad with spiced chickpeas, chicken soup with parsley and lemon, mujadara (lentils and rice), and delicious semolina cake with rose water. We’ll also learn about the cultural heritage of these dishes. Instructor: Nancy Hart
