Sparkling Wine & Appetizers

This class will explore affordable sparkling wines from around the world. We’ll also talk about grapes, vineyards, and methods used in making bubblies. We’ll have French Sparkling, Italian Prosecco and Spanish Cavas, as well as, a few surprising choices. The appetizers will be simple and easy including some international cheeses, crunchy snacks, spicy sausage, and chilled shrimp. We’ll discuss a little bit about food pairing and a good time will be had by all. Instructor: Dagmar Smith

Dagmar Smith

Dagmar Smith has had a lifelong love for the culinary arts. A graduate of Cambridge School of Culinary Arts, she is classically trained, and has traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and Europe. Dagmar teaches at several adult education programs in the Boston area, and also offers private lessons both for individuals wanting to develop their skills, and for small groups organizing cooking lesson/dinner party events.
