Advanced Beginning Jewelry: Bezel-setting a Beach Rock or Tumbled Stone

This continuation of the Beginning Jewelry Workshop series builds on the essentials of fabricating stone settings in sterling silver. We will focus on more complicated techniques in soldering and piercing to create bezel-settings for irregularly-shaped stones such as a beach rock or a semi-precious tumbled stone. Students will receive a materials kit with everything needed for the project, including: sterling silver sheet and wire, fine silver bezel wire, stones, solder, and more. A materials fee of $40 is payable to the instructor at the class.
