French Red Wines, Cheeses, and Tasty Bites

This class is about economically-priced French wines that mostly cost under $15 and classic French tasty bites that will be quick and easy to prepare. We’ll start with a Beaujolais-Villages made from lighter Gamay grapes and then sample an interesting Bordeaux. We’ll finish with big, full bodied Côtes du Rhône and taste a few surprises wines too. For appetizers we’ll have brie tortes, olive oil and herb drenched goat cheese, plus an assortment of other cheeses, and truffle oil canapés. Instructor: Dagmar Smith
