French Wine, Cheese, and Tasty Bites

This class is about economically-priced French wines that mostly cost under $15 and classic French tasty bites that will be quick and easy to prepare. This spring we’ll start with a white Bordeaux and move on to Alsatian dry white wine and then a rosé from Provence. For red wines we’ll have a Beaujolais-Villages made from lighter gamay grapes and then big, full bodied red from Côtes du Rhône. For appetizers we’ll have basil twists, camembert tortes, olive oil and herb drenched goat cheese, quiche bites, and truffle oil canapés. Instructor: Dagmar Smith
