Anatomy for Artists *In-Person*

Drawing, sculpting, or painting the human form can be an exercise in frustration when what exists under the skin remains a mystery. We will examine and study the muscles, bones, and soft tissue of the human form, using a skeleton, anatomy references, and the instructor’s own reference drawings. We will then apply that knowledge to drawing from live figure models. This approach to drawing the figure incorporates demos and exercises to create a more dynamic and dimensional figure, including the study of proportion and key anatomic landmarks. Although previous figure drawing experience is helpful, participants of all levels are welcome. Instructor: Mark Lefkowitz
