ESL Instructor

Michael Impastato is an experienced ESL teacher who currently lives in Cambridge. He taught ESL for 30 years at Roxbury Community College in Boston, and has been at CCAE for five years, also as an ESL teacher. Michael has a Master's degree in Spanish Literature from New York University and in Education and ESL from Boston University. He has traveled widely in Europe and Latin America and speaks Spanish and Portuguese. Michael's teaching interests include grammar and reading, especially from news articles. Outside of class, he enjoys music, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, biking and walks in nature.
