Delightful Italian Lunch Conversation and Excursions *NEW*

Take a break from your busy day for a taste of the dolce vita. Over the weeks we will talk about Italian food culture in film, literature and history. We will watch Gianni di Gregorio’s delightful comedy Pranzo di Ferragosto (2008), read from Pellegrino Artusi’s iconic cookbook La scienza in cucina e l’arte di mangiar bene (1891) and from Clara Sereni’s novel in recipes Casalinghitudine (1987). We will also learn about the Slow Food Movement and the successful business adventure of EATALY. Students of all levels of Italian are welcome as long as they are prepared to immerse into the language. Instructor: Maria Grazia Lolla
