ESL: Keys to American Communication Culture *NEW*

Communicate better with your American colleagues at work and in business. Topics include small talk, expressiveness, using tactful language, getting to the point, organizing information, agreeing and disagreeing, and more. Develop American English communication skills by participating in discussions, short presentations, conversations, and role-play situations. Explore American communication culture by talking about how you view American communication and how you believe you’ve adapted or would like to adapt. Focus on language choices and conveying messages in meetings or at work. We are going to discover and learn about key points in US communication style, talk about what it means to communicate effectively in the context of US communication, and we are going to practice communication.
