White People Challenging Racism: From Talk to Action - Part 2

We’ll use similar methods to expand upon the groundwork laid in Part 1, digging deeper into the four I’s of oppression and intersectionality. Participants will develop small group historical grounding presentations that explore a particular person, event, or historical movement thatwill help anchor our understanding of white supremacy, and inform our action plans. Participants should bring their action plans from Part 1, or new action plans they are working on; we will use the classroom for feedback and support. This workshop is highly participatory and includes reading and reflection assignments between sessions. Prerequisite: WPCR Part 1.
