ESL: Intermediate Level 3 & 4 *In-Person*

This course is a continuation of Intermediate Level 1 & 2. Grammar to be reviewed includes comparative adjectives (Boston is smaller than New York.") and superlative adjectives ("Boston is the biggest city in New England."). New grammar will include the passive voice ("English is spoken throughout the world.") and adjective clauses ("The textbook which we use is very popular."). Instructor: John O'Donnell

John Coleman O'Donnell

John was born in Philadelphia, PA and grew up in Montreal, PQ. His educational background includes a BA in political science and an MA in political theory from Notre Dame University in South Bend, IN. He has been teaching ESL for 15 years in the Boston area. John is married to a Brazilian woman and has visited Brazil three times. He is learning Portuguese and completely empathizes with second language learners, since Portuguese is not an easy language to learn!
