Continuing Fingerstyle Ukulele *NEW* *In-Person*

Journey into instrumental ukulele and discover how beautiful your ukulele can sound. Convert a lead sheet into a chord melody arrangement, where the melody notes and the chords intertwine and co-exist. Explore different genres of music, including classical, folk, pop, and rock. Replicate instrumental riffs with your ukulele to mimic bass guitar, rhythmic guitar, lead guitar, synthesizer, piano, and other instruments. Expand beyond solo playing to duets, trios, and ensemble playing. Prerequisite: Beginning Fingerstyle Ukulele or equivalent. Instructor: Anne Ku

Anne Ku

Born in Brunei and raised in Taiwan and Okinawa, Anne Ku earned her music degrees in composition and teaching diploma in piano from Utrecht Conservatory in the Netherlands. After performing as a chamber musician in Europe, she moved to Hawaii and taught music at University of Hawaii Maui College. She wrote her MA in Music thesis on the ukulele. Her new book "UkuGlobal's Happy Helpful Guide to the Ukulele" is based on the curriculum she has developed in her teaching practice in Boston. Visit www.anneku.com
