ESL: Intensive Intermediate Levels 3 & 4 Integrated Skills - 54 hours

This class is for students who have finished Intermediate 2 and can describe experiences, events, dreams, and expectations. Students will learn to identify the main ideas of complex text and interact with native speakers with more fluency and spontaneity. New grammar will include the passive voice (The window is broken."), adjective clauses ("The teacher who has long hair is from New York."), phrasal verbs ("She turned down the offer."), and preposition combinations ("I am excited about taking this class!"). John Coleman O'Donnell

John was born in Philadelphia, PA and grew up in Montreal, PQ. His educational background includes a BA in political science and an MA in political theory from Notre Dame University in South Bend, IN. He has been teaching ESL for 15 years in the Boston area. John is married to a Brazilian woman and has visited Brazil three times. He is learning Portuguese and completely empathizes with second language learners, since Portuguese is not an easy language to learn!
