Arabic: High Beginner Conversation

This class emphasizes conversational skills, sentence structure, and practical applications of the Arabic language. Focus on topics, get to know other learners, learn about culture, and use what you have learned to make the language come alive. To best benefit from this class, students should be comfortable speaking in the present tense and have some knowledge of the past and future or have studied Arabic language for 30h or more within the last 3 years. We also welcome all variations of spoken Arabic including modern standard Arabic (MSA), Shamia and Egyptian dialect. By the end of this class students will be able to speak Arabic with confidence. Fatma Salem has over 15 years of progressive experience in the promotion of international services and education to promote knowledge within global environments. Skilled instructor and researcher with higher education background in Asian studies, Arabic Language and Social science at numerous international institutions. After graduating with a doctorate degree she has traveled extensively throughout Africa, Asia, Canada and USA in order to create strong links between countries by linking people to education. She is teaching at CCAE, and also offers private lessons for individuals wanting to develop their skills.
