Pour Your Own Shaped Candles *In-Person* *NEW*
Join this illuminating candle-making class, where you will learn all the ins and outs of candle making. We will cover everything from wax to wicks, fragrances and colors, and even some candle history. You get to pour your own shaped coconut-soy wax candle and scented wax melts, choosing your favorite mold, fragrance, and color. Take your handmade creations home at the end of the class, as well as a whole bunch of knowledge on candle-making! Instructor: Elisha Verhaar

Looking for unique wedding favors back in 2021, I made my own succulent-shaped candles. They were received so well, that “Bits of Joy Gifts” was born! I now make and sell a wide variety of unique shaped candles, made with eco-friendly and non-toxic ingredients. Besides running my candle business, I love teaching candle-making classes to share the art of candle making with others, and to add more creativity into my own life as a full-time immunology scientist.
