ESL Advanced: The Power of Your Words: Make Your Words Work for You at Work *In-Person* *NEW*
We can be more creative with our spoken messages so that we are convincing and effective. We’ll practice and talk about how to unify words with nonverbal language. It is not by learning new words that you convince your audience. It is by more effectively using the words you already know that you convince your audience. In this spirit, we’ll combine non-verbal language with rhetorical devices to make strong and compelling messages for meetings and presentations. Come with what you want to present or what you want to say at meetings, and be ready to think creatively. This class complements The Power of Your Business Voice.

"Steve does communication skills programs for meetings and presentations in the Boston area and online. Steve coaches, teaches, and trains high-level, fluent international professionals who want to optimize and maximize their English communication skills and English language proficiency in the US and worldwide.
Steve, “We work on higher order capabilities – finer and more subtle communication points. This includes non-verbal skills, intercultural communication in the US, pronunciation, message content, vocal presentation, and English language proficiency.”
Steve teaches beginner guitar. He likes a wide range of popular music including blues, older R-n- B, some reggae, some jazz, a little country, and more. In a no non-sense way, Steve shows you what to do to get the basics together, play easy songs, use the “5-note scale”, and more. Steve can teach basic “music theory” so that you know how chords and notes relate to the guitar."
