Autobiographical Comics *In-person* *NEW*
Anyone can draw a comic! Comics allow us to express life experiences, emotions, memories, and dreams. In this class, we will read a range of autobiographical comics, including masterpieces like Art Spiegelman's Maus (1991), Marjane Satrapi's Persepolis (2000), and Alison Bechdel's Fun Home (2006), as well as slice-of-life diaries about work, families, and pets. We will also play drawing games and follow prompts to create original autobiographical comics about our own lives. By making comics, we will learn who we are. Instructor: Rafael Abrahams
