Fall Homemade Soups

The secret to a great soup is starting with a flavorful broth. We will make a wonderful vegetable stock and go on to make hearty recipes such as mushroom barley soup, split pea and chicken sausage soup, creamy butternut squash soup, and creamy tomato with homemade coutons. We’ll talk and work with some alternatives to homemade stock. Come hungry! Instructor: Dagmar Smith

Dagmar Smith has had a lifelong love for the culinary arts. A graduate of Cambridge School of Culinary Arts, she is classically trained, and has traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and Europe. Dagmar teaches at several adult education programs in the Boston area, and also offers private lessons both for individuals wanting to develop their skills, and for small groups organizing cooking lesson/dinner party events.
