Outdoor Tennis Workshop *In-Person*

Up your game! Each session of these tennis workshops for new and continuing students will focus on the basic tennis strokes: forehand, backhand, volley, and overhead/serve. Through drills, exercises, and actual games, we will sharpen your skills, knowledge of rules, and strategies for a comprehensive tennis experience. Bring a racquet, a can of balls, tennis shoes, and comfortable sportswear. Class meets outdoors in the western suburbs. Directions to the T-accessible courts will be emailed to registered students. Certified Instructor

Victor Gonzalez, tennis instructor, has been playing tennis since he was 8 years old. In the '70s he toured the country playing in USTA Satellite tournaments and started teaching tennis for CCAE. Victor coached tennis at Concord Academy for 10 seasons and attended Tennis University in Hilton Head S.C. to get certified as a tennis pro. After getting a degree in Anthropology from Harvard Extension School in '92, he went back to teaching tennis and has enjoyed teaching hundreds of area residents this great sport.
