Keeping Our Community Safe During COVID-19

A Note from Our Executive Director

Monday, March 16, 2020

To Our Valued CCAE Community,

As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation evolves, we continue to reassess our plans in the interest of the well-being of our students, instructors, and staff. In support of new measures put in place by city and state officials and to ensure the safety of our community, we are cancelling classes for the remainder of the week. CCAE will now be closed to the public from this afternoon, Monday, March 16 through Monday, April 20. A prorated credit will be given to registered winter term students for these canceled sessions. For more information contact info@ccae.org.

As of now, spring term classes are postponed until Tuesday, April 21. We will be providing updates as we continue to monitor the situation both in email and on our website. CCAE staff will be available weekdays, 9am - 5pm, via telephone at 617-547-6789 ext. 1 and email at info@ccae.org. Please visit our COVID-19 Information page for further information.

For 150 years, CCAE has been both a center of education and of community in Harvard Square. As with all local small businesses, we rely greatly on the continued support of that community to ensure that CCAE remains a beacon of education and community for the next 150 years. During this time of uncertainty we ask our students and supporters to make a tax-deductible donation if possible. Additionally, gift certificates are available for purchase online and can be used on any and all upcoming CCAE classes. This support will be vital as we look forward to welcoming our students and instructors back to our center in the near future.

Wishing you health and safety during this difficult time,

Linda Burton, Executive Director
