Founded in 1973, the award-winning Blacksmith House Poetry Series brings established and emerging writers of poetry and fiction to Harvard Square. All readings take place in person at 56 Brattle Street on Mondays at 8pm. Admission is $5 and tickets are available at the door.

Cate Marvin

Cate Marvin's fourth book of poems is Event Horizon (Copper Canyon Press, 2022). She has received a Whiting Award and a Guggenheim Fellowship for her work. She is a professor of creative writing at the College of Staten Island, City University of New York, and lives in Southern Maine.

Dana Levin

Dana Levin is the author of five books poetry, including her latest, Now Do You Know Where You Are (Copper Canyon Press), a 2022 New York Times Notable Book. Other books include Banana Palace (2016) and Sky Burial (2011). With Adele Elise Williams, she co-edited Bert Meyers: On the Life and Work of an American Master (2023) for the Unsung Masters Series. Levin serves as distinguished writer in residence at Maryville University in St. Louis.
