Dumplings, Of Course! is CCAE’s Annual Spring Fundraiser and takes place on Thursday, June 8th from 5:30pm to 8pm in The Courtyard at the Blacksmith House on 56 Brattle Street.
It seems like forever that mankind has been finding ways to stuff delicious fillings into pockets of dough. This wonderful tradition can be found in every culture and will be on display at Dumplings, Of Course! Dumplings from around the world will be provided by: Felipe's Taqueria, Honeycomb Creamery, The House of Kebabs, Mamaleh's Delicatessen, Mei Mei Dumplings, Pammy’s Restaurant, and Wusong Road.
This year we are excited to offer a dumpling-themed raffle! Buy a raffle ticket at $20/ticket (with 3 for $50 and 6 for $100) and try your hand at winning one of two premium prizes:
Dinner for four at one of your favorite neighborhood restaurants, Myers + Chang, along with a cookbook signed by Award-Winning Chef Joanne Chang herself.
An 8-person private class led by CCAE’s beloved instructor Jade Li who will teach participants all about the ins and outs of how to make dumplings from scratch.
The funds raised from Dumplings, Of Course! will help to fund our scholarship program, increase our outreach to nonprofits whose clients would not otherwise be able to take our classes, and support all those who carry out the excellent educational programming for which CCAE is well known.
