Spreading Chestnut Tree Society

At Cambridge Center for Adult Education, the giving circle with
the greatest impact begins with a gift of $1,000 or more.

An annual gift of $1,000 has tremendous impact at CCAE. It allows us to launch groundbreaking and controversial series like Conversations on the Edge, continue the beloved Blacksmith House Poetry Series, award 200 scholarships, maintain our beautiful historic buildings in Harvard Square, and provide  the kind of experiential, place-based learning you have come to love.

When you join the Spreading Chestnut Tree Society with a gift of $1,000, you have exclusive access to VIP event ticketing and priority reservations for classes by advance registration. You will also, as a treasured member of our giving circle, receive invitations to CCAE house parties and to special receptions and events, including Conversations on the Edge, the Blacksmith House Poetry Series, the  Gonson Lecture Series, and occasional behind-the- scenes cutting-edge events.

$5,000+ You significantly impact CCAE’s ability to offer merit-based scholarships to more than 200 students each year, and your gift will support CCAE scholarships. You will as a member of our giving circle, receive
invitations to special receptions and events with priority seating and reservations, as well as early class
registration.

$10,000+ This gift allows you to host an exclusive party at CCAE around the class or occasion of your choice. You also receive sponsorship priority for “Of Course,” CCAE’s bi-annual Gala. You will, of course, receive
invitations to special receptions and events with priority seating and  reservations, as well as early class
registration.

$15,000+ This gift allows you to sponsor a specific CCAE faculty member or class for a year, and to host a reception for your family and friends at CCAE around the occasion to celebrate the gift. It also gives you sponsorship priority for “Of Course,” CCAE’s bi-annual Gala. And of course, you will be an honored guest, with priority seating, at all CCAE  special events and receptions, as well as early class registration.

$20,000+ For a gift of this amount, you can establish a named CCAE Fund to endow a specific teacher or department at CCAE. CCAE will celebrate the gift with a reception for your family and friends with the department faculty. It also gives you sponsorship priority for “Of Course,” CCAE’s bi-annual Gala. And of course, you will be an honored guest, with priority seating, at all CCAE special events and receptions, as well as early class registration.

Thank you to our Spreading Chestnut Tree Society members!
