Benjamin Sears
Benjamin Sears & Bradford Conner have been called "Boston's favorite song duo" by the Boston Globe. They perform regularly in the Boston area, and have appeared in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and in Oxford, England. They have ten CD releases of Irving Berlin, George & Ira Gershwin, Yip Harburg, Cole Porter, Noel Coward, Fred Astaire, and Ethel Merman. They are Producing Directors of American Classics, for which they have reconstructed and presented concert performances of lost American musicals. Ben & Brad are founding members of the Boston Association of Cabaret Singers. In addition to their concerts, they lecture regularly on the Great American Songbook, and Broadway and Hollywood musicals. Ben is the editor of The Irving Berlin Reader and contributed a chapter to Adapting the Wizard of Oz (both Oxford University Press).
