Elena Shabliy

Elena Shabliy received a Master of Liberal Arts and a Ph.D. from Tulane University. She earned her B.A. and M.A. with high honors and a gold medal from Lomonosov Moscow State University, where she specialized in German language and world literature. In 2002, she was a visiting student at the University of Rostock in Germany and received a stipend from the German Ministry for Education, Arts, and Culture. Dr. Shabliy was a visiting researcher at Columbia University, NYU, Harvard University, and Boston University. In 2018, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard. In 2025, she was a visiting researcher at Columbia University. Elena Shabliy has published books on climate change, clean energy, and gender justice.
