Elena Shabliy

Elena Shabliy received a Master of Liberal Arts and an interdisciplinary Ph.D. from Tulane University. She earned her B.A. and M.A. with high honors and a gold medal from Lomonosov Moscow State University. She was a visiting student at the University of Rostock in Germany and received a stipend from the German Ministry of Education, Arts, and Culture. Dr. Shabliy has been a visiting researcher at Boston University, New York University, Harvard University, and Columbia University. In 2018, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard. Dr. Shabliy has published books on climate change, clean energy, and justice, and she is currently a faculty aide and researcher at Harvard University. In 2025, Elena Shabliy earned a graduate certificate in Principles of Finance from Harvard Extension School.
