Josh Passell grew up expecting to be an Astrophysicist, but graduated from Columbia University with a degree in English and Film: the immovable object of higher mathematics stood fast against his resistible intellectual force. Happily, Cosmology’s loss was the Humanities’ gain. During a 40-year career in travel and cultural journalism, based in New York, London and Boston, he applied the rigor of scientific method to literature, art, and music.
