Malachi Van Nice

Malachi Van Nice has made experimental and narrative films since 2009 and has worked in front of and behind the camera on various productions that span from large-scale television and feature films to small-scale shorts. They have won the 2025 FABA Film Award for Best Experimental Film and was a finalist for the 2020 American Film Award. Their MFA in Film & Media Arts resulted in them teaching film production, screenwriting, and interactive media at Emerson College and Wellesley College. Malachi has also delved into live theatre performance, music composition, modern dance performance, digital photography, and darkroom photography.
