Maria Conte

Maria is a multi-talented instructor, as well as a passionate cook since childhood. Maria has extensive academic background and teaching experience in Italian, Spanish and ESL languages as well as in Art and cooking. She received degrees in education from the Institute Mater Divinae Gratiae in Italy, from NEMTEC (New England Montessori Teacher's Education Center) and is OFC-Director II qualified. She earned certifications to teach modern languages to foreigners and as a second language at the "Universita' per Stranieri di Siena" and "Universita' Ca' Foscari di Venezia", Italy. Maria holds a B.A. in Italian Studies, Spanish and Art from the University of Massachusetts, and an M.A. in Italian Literature and Culture from Boston College. She offers Translation Services and enjoys the freedom as an independent artist. Maria has taught children and adults for many years in Italy as well as in the United States, adopting traditional and Montessori's didactic methods.
