Marta Igea Gracia

Marta Igea is from Madrid, Spain. She has experience teaching students from a wide range of backgrounds and enjoys helping others learn and gain confidence. Before teaching Spanish, she worked as an aerospace engineer and a flight instructor.

After moving to Boston, Marta improved her English by taking ESL classes at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education (CCAE). Experiencing language learning from the student’s perspective gave her a greater appreciation for the challenges involved and helps her create a friendly and encouraging classroom for her own students.
