Melanie D. Reeves

Melanie D. Reeves works in education and is a writer. Reeves has over 15 years of experience in working in roles at Harvard University, Northeastern University, and Suffolk University. Her play Boxing with Mom was featured in “The Boston Globe Magazine” and was reprinted in the textbook Communications 2000. She appeared on Talk of New England with Jim Braude and on WBUR to discuss her play. Reeves served as Editor-in-Chief for both her high school and college newspapers (“The Reporter at Boston High” and “The Voice of Mount Ida College”). Reeves holds a master’s degree in Literature & Creative Writing from Harvard University and two bachelor’s degrees, one in Journalism from Suffolk University and the other in English with a concentration in Writing from Northeastern University. Reeves also holds an associate’s degree in Communications from Mount Ida College. Reeves is the proud aunt of 18 nieces and nephews.
