Monique St. Paul
Monique uses group fitness classes to stay active, social, and manage stress. Working out alone never lasted long, and she quickly realized she thrived in a safe, fun environment where movement feels good—not intimidating. Inspired by enthusiastic instructors and a great playlist, Monique got certified by the Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) to teach and now brings that same energy to her barre and Zumba® classes at her local YMCA. Her approach is simple: wear what's comfortable, do what you can, and, most of all, have fun. And if you're curious what fuels her after class, lately it's a smoothie made with banana, chocolate, dates, tahini, and almond milk. Hearty, a little unexpected, and totally worth it.
