Rosa Anna Paradiso

Rosa Anna is a native Italian from Avellino, in the heart of Irpinia, Southern Italy, a land full of history, traditions, and stories that inspire her work. She holds a Ph.D. in Philology from the University of Naples Federico II and Université Paris 8, was a Visiting Scholar at Harvard University’s Department of History, and is currently writing books based on her research on the history of the Italian language. With over ten years of experience teaching Italian as a foreign language and a DITALS II certification, she brings her background in linguistics and cultural history into the classroom. After years abroad, she moved to Cambridge in 2024, where she enjoys sharing her passion for Italian with students of all levels. Outside the classroom, she loves reading, crocheting, exploring New England with her family, and spending time with her energetic toddler daughter.
