Latin Via Mythology!: Beginner Level 1 *Online* *NEW*

Have you always been interested in Latin but never had the chance to study it? Or have you always loved Greek and Roman myths and wondered how the Greeks and Romans told them? In this class, you get the best of both worlds: an introduction to the Latin language and a series of easy readings of myths adapted from Ovid’s Metamorphoses—some classics and some you have probably never heard of. Students will build a basic Latin grammar and vocabulary through the fun of mythology. This class is designed for those who have never taken Latin before or those who would like to start from the beginning.
