Learn the basics of sign language as a first step to developing receptive and expressive skills. You will learn commonly used signs, the basic grammatical rules of American Sign Language, and information about the deaf. This class requires the additional purchase of a textbook. Jude Grauso
Jude Grauso is a Deaf teacher who has a passion for ASL and Deaf culture. Jude graduated with a degree in Education and is currently finishing a second degree in Human Services. They are teaching ASL 1&2 at CCAE and outside of that works with Deaf mentorship, private ASL instruction, and is also a School teacher during the day.
In their free time they enjoy spending time with their family and pets as well as hiking, gardening, and outdoor activities.
