Class Supply List

Pencils

• 2H and 2B pencil
• white chalk pencil

Charcoal

• soft charcoal (willow or vine)
• compressed charcoal

Paper

• 18” x 24” or larger, no smaller, at least 4 sheets
• Any pad of charcoal paper will work (for both pencil and charcoal drawings). Strathmore sells a variety of charcoal paper pads.
• If you want to buy some nicer sheets of paper, you can try Rives BFK or Fabriano Artistico Watercolor paper. These are sold in 22” x 30” sheets.
• Required: One toned/color sheet of paper (Stonehenge makes different colored papers, size 22” x 30”), preferably a gray, cream, light tone. Nothing too dark and no saturated colors. No black paper. (We will use thewhite chalk pencil on this)

Other Materials

• Drawing board (If you have one. There are some in the studio)
• Blue painter's tape
• Viewfinder
• Kneaded eraser
• Pencil sharpener
• Rag/paper towels
