Alice Tamaccio
Alice Tamaccio was raised by a Greek mother and is fluent in the Greek language. She holds a Doctorate in Education and has over 10 years of work experience as a Nurse and over 20 years as a College Professor. She has taught and published a book on medical terminology, as knowledge of Greek has made it easy to teach medical terminology along with College level Anatomy and Physiology and Biology, all of which have roots, prefixes and suffixes derived from Greek. In fact, 60% of English has a basis in the Greek language, simply with a difference in pronunciation.
Having taught Modern Greek at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education for 2 years, Alice returns once again to welcome students in need of an introductory course to visit Greece or gain knowledge of elementary Greek for everyday use.
