Benjamin Pasamanick
Benjamin began studying the Yang style of Tai Chi Chuan, (as passed down from Grand Master Hsiung Yang Ho), with Boston-area teacher Tai-Chun Pan beginning in 1994 as a student at the CCAE. He has found over the years that his practice has helped him with general health, grounding, and a sense of peacefulness that permeates his daily life. Returning in 2009 after a long hiatus, Benjamin resumed studying with Tai-Chun Pan, only to confirm what he already knew, that Tai Chi practice is built up over a lifetime, with each individual putting in as much time and energy as they can afford at that point in their life.
His daily practice of the 'Basic Form' complements the weekly classes he take with Tai-Chun where they learn San Shou (Free Style); Push Hands; Sword; and the other segments of the complete Yang Style, (not typically taught elsewhere), and refines his technique and understanding of basic Tai Chi principles.
