Jennifer TumSuden
Jennifer TumSuden teaches Art History at Walnut Hill School for the Arts, an independent arts high school in Natick, MA. In her teaching and writing, Jennifer seeks to make the history of art accessible to all learners through carefully curated content and resources, hands-on activities, and guided observation. Jennifer 's master's thesis, "The Lure of the Exotic: An Examination of John Singer Sargent’s Orientalist Mode," led to her interest in researching artistic response to cultural phenomena. Her current academic focus is on contemporary artists and their relation to civil rights movements and issues concerning gender and race.
