Joe Capatosto

I am Coffee Professional with over 15 years in Specialty Coffee. I am passionate about the coffee supply chain, helping folks know more about where their coffee comes from and how to prepare it well. Coffee always keeps me engaged with its culinary, technical, scientific and social aspects. I'm excited to share all that I'm learning. I have owned and operated a cafe and roastery on the retail side, training in roasting, brewing, barista skills, and sensory. Though this training I became an Authorized Specialty Coffee Association Trainer for accredited SCA coffee skills courses. I am currently the sales and account manager for Counter Culture Coffee in Boston and work from the Training Center here in Somerville. My previous companies include the shark tank start up Third Wave Water, and managing the Innovation Lab for Crimson Cup Coffee and Tea an SCA Premier Campus.
