Joe Carreiro
J.D.
I am a 1992 graduate of the University of Massachusetts-Boston, and obtained my law degree from Franklin Pierce Law Center in Concord, New Hampshire in 1996. After law school, I began a solo law practice, working in the Probate and Family Court(s); performing buyer and seller purchase and sale and conveyancing work (including performing real estate title examinations and resolving title issues); individual and small business income tax planning and preparation; and representing individuals before administrative boards, such as the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Social Security Administration, and the Internal Revenue Service. After leaving solo practice, I continued the work I provided as a sole practitioner, but focused my practice in real estate and immigration law as well as developed my elder-disability law and estate planning practices in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. I also served as a guardian ad litem for the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court, as an investigator, reviewer, and court appointed fiduciary. In 2008, I left the practice of law to focus on the implementation and development of a broad spectrum of services as a consultant and advocate for small businesses and families. I founded Nakata Consulting, with a mission to serve others by offering solutions, through implementing and developing strategies to help people problem-solve. My goal is to build relationships; not simply be transactional.
