Juliana Locke

Juliana is a professional cheese enjoyer living and working in the Boston area. A Cambridge native, Juliana attended the University of Chicago Divinity School before returning to the East Coast and refocusing her studies on food. After a couple years as cheesemonger and classroom coordinator at Formaggio Kitchen, she is now service manager for Juliet restaurant and cheese commander for Juliet + Company. Juliana wants to talk to you about the ways capital, labor, and gender interact with the food you eat, always while feeding you great food. She is often working, but when she’s not, you might find her walking her dog in the woods at Fresh Pond. Her favorite type of milk is sheep. Her favorite non-cheese foods are lemons and tomato bread, and her favorite wine is Montenidoli Vinbrusco.
