Katerina Annunziato

Katerina Annunziato is a fashion designer and textile artist, she received her training from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In 2020, while living in Latin America she launched her own fashion brand specializing in swimwear and knitwear. Katerina has worked with natural dyes for many years, while living in Ecuador she collected cochineal, an insect that resides on certain species of cacti and when collected and turned into a pigment produces a spectrum of the color red. The insect is commonly used to dye textiles, food and cosmetics. She actively uses natural dyes in her fashion and textile collections that have traveled to Mexico City, Quito, Chicago and New York City. Katerina creatively directs, designs and produces her brand between Latin America and the US.
